obsidian golem(aka Dark Golem)

This golem would be stronger than the iron golem, and would have the unique property of regeneration, even though this regen would be quite slow. Its attack technique would not be like the iron golem, as the Dark Golem will use a "hammer arm" of sorts that would smash down on mobs, sometimes burying them and suffocating them in the ground. It would have the same amount of damage and health as its iron counterpart, but it has more defense. It would be slightly bigger than the Iron golem, and would have a black and dark red (or blue) color palate. This would benefit Minecraft because it would add more diversity to the part of Minecraft that definitely needs to be added upon.WE NEED MORE GOLEMS. period.

    I agree. That would be a good idea, but (not completely sure) I think suffocating Inside the block would be against most of Minecraft's codes. Maybe it should stun them instead? also, will it be the same as a iron golem and protect villages or be made with obsidian blocks instead of iron ones?? p.s. Sorry for any offense or over-the-top questions

    CrazierCrown, the stun idea would be a good adjustment. And as all golems are made for, they will attack any hostile mobs, protecting villagers in the process. Last of all, yes, it is made from a T shape of obsidian blocks. I also thought about making this T recipe-shape one block tall than normal, as I envisioned the dark golem being taller than the iron golem, but just as slim, if not slimmer.

    This mob seems a little to over powerd when you sy it slam mobs in the ground and then they suffocate, will this be an enemy or helper to the player because just because it slams enemy's into the ground does not mean it will happen to us.
