I would like the command tag of /minecartspeed <speed factor>

The tag speed factor is max speed in meters per second. This would make my roller coasters and rail traveling speed phenomenal!

This would be great, but it should also apply to boats as well.  (and instead of a command it could be and nbt tag)

p.s. can you change the description to be a suggestion for both bedrock AND java?

You can already adjust minecart speed with Behaviour Packs.

This should probably be put into nbt if it where to be added instead of being it's own command

Request: Add the minecartMaxSpeed Gamerule to Minecraft Bedrock Edition

    Dear Minecraft Development Team,

Could you please consider adding the minecartMaxSpeed gamerule to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, as already available experimentally in Java Edition?

For players building large railway networks, the current minecart speed is very limiting. A gamerule would be an ideal solution: it would keep the default gameplay unchanged while allowing players and world creators to choose faster minecarts when needed.

This relatively simple addition would greatly improve long-distance railways and transportation systems in Bedrock worlds, while also bringing Bedrock closer to feature parity with Java Edition.

Thank you for considering this much-awaited feature.

    Best regards,
    Gregoire Vacille
