resource packs in other versions

if you go from version to another version the resource pack will be turned off or what...

what i want to do:

-if the resource pack is outdated or for newer version of minecraft and you are going to enable it it wont splash message...I want it will only if you are going to apply it

-if you have enabled RP for older version of minecraft and you go to newer it will disable... i want it to be optional (it will work with older too)

-automated toggling resourcepacks for another versions of it

or

-minecraft version (or pack format) range added to pack.mcmeta    it will be most good

I know you mojang are giving updates to languages or what to all mc versions... it will be so good if you release update for all minecraft releases with this add.
