Mantis Shrimp are truly extraordinary creatures. They lived around 400 million years ago and they have the strongest punch of any animal. I would really hope to have this creature be added in game for both a new creature and a new potion. So enough talking let's get into it!
Health: Currently Unknown
Attack: Unknown but very strong
Spawn: Warm Ocean biomes
Hostility Level: Hostile. The Mantis Shrimp will attack anything on within range, including the player.
Swimming: The Mantis Shrimp can swim through the water and has a swimming animation when doing so.
Mach Punch: The Mantis Shrimp can punch a lighting speeds dealing intense damage for such a little creature. Its punches are so strong that a single punch will break glass instantly.
Glow in the Dark: When in dark light levels the Mantis Shrimp will glow in the dark.
Weakness: The Mantis Shrimp is a powerful creature indeed but it can’t survive that long on land. Once on land, the shrimp will start to die in a matter of seconds.
Drops: Itself. The Mantis Shrimp can be dropped itself upon death and it is eatable. It can also be cooked to increase food points and has another use.
Mach Punch Potion
Ingredient: 1 Mantis Shrimp
Max Level: 2
Time Limit: Unknown
Info: The Mach Punch Potion is a potion that carries some serious damage. When the player drinks the Mach Punch Potion they will receive the effect Mach Punch. It’s basically an upgraded Strength Potion but at a cost. The player will deal many more hearts of damage to the opponent then a regular Strength Potion could do but at the cost of every 2 punches at an opponent, the user will receive 1 a heart of damage to themselves. The reasoning behind this is because the player is punching so fast at a physical opponent, they will eventually do damage to themselves.
Personally i love this idea and I feel like this would be a great addition for Minecraft. Do you agree? If so, please give this idea a vote and let me know what you thought of it in the comment section below. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
