The Redstone Counter is a block that would accept any 2 digit integer parameter and will have an input (in the front) and output (in the back). The input will accept a redstone signal and the output will send a redstone signal. The output will not send a redstone signal UNTIL the amount of redstone pulses specified in the block parameters has been recieved in the input.
I would also like to employ a 3rd and 4th signal if possible. The 3rd signal will be accepted from the left side, and when a signal is received the block's counter state resets, (for example, if you set the block's parameters to for instance 12, if you had already received 3 pulses and needed 9 more pulses to output a signal, the parameters would stay the same, but the amount of pulses needed would reset back to the full amount.)
The 4th signal would be accepted from the right side, this would allow the block's parameters to be changed all by counting the amount of redstone pulses that are being received through the right side (for example, if the parameter was set to 12 initially, and a pulse came through by the 4th signal, the block's counter state will reset, and the parameter will start counting, in this instance, it will go to 1 since only 1 pulse was received from the 4th signal.
I know I know this is all really complex and stuff but it would make automation SO much better! You could set up everything just with the click of a button if you use your brain well!
