Note: Zombies are humanoids, at least that's what I know...
It looks like a Drowned, it acts like a Drowned, but it is not a Drowned! In fact, quite the opposite! Engulfed are basically Drowned but more..... shall I say.. fiery. Yes, Engulfed are the lava version of Drowned, and have quite a usage....
Bewitched Pitchfork: Engulfed will have a weapon called the Bewitched Pitchfork, which, again, is a fiery version of the Drowned's Trident. The Bewitched Pitchfork deals with fiery attacks instead of lightning, but more will be explained in the Blocks, Tools, and Items feedback page.
Engulfed Itself: The Engulfed itself is quite a ditto to the Drowned but there's a silver lining to this. The Engulfed health is the same as the Drowned 20 hearts (or 10 for full hearts), however instead of 2 armor point, the Engulfed will have 8. The Engulfed's attack strength are as follows: Easy Difficulty: 3 Hearts, Normal Difficulty: 5 hearts, Hard Difficulty: 6 hearts, and with the Bewitched Pitchfork (with ranged attacks): 10 hearts.
Drops: it took a while to think about, but I it through. It will drop: Magma Cream 1-3 (46% percent chance), Bewitched Pitchfork (only if it has in hand, if so, 35% chance), Rotten Flesh 1-2 (76% chance), Gold Ingot (65% chance), and 7 experience orbs (14 if baby variant).
Spawning: It spawns by either being in lava pools and the Nether. It also spawns quite uncommonly, with it only spawning 68.4% of the time. They will also spawn when a Husk goes into lava and stay in it (also when this added, husks will become immune to lava)
Behavior: There are two behaviors that are the same as the Drowned. During the day, in lava pools, they will be passive until you enter that lava pool, then when you get out they will no longer be hostile. The second behavior is more common; this behavior occurs at night, underground, and in the Nether. It's where it is straight up hostile and tries to charge you, like the Drowned. Also, when either a Drowned or a Engulfed is chasing you and the opposite meets up (for this example, when your being chased by a Engulfed and you come across a Drowned), the Engulfed stops going after you and straights up go after the Drowned. The Drowned does the same. They will continue to ignore you until either of them die.
Overall: I think it'll be cool, we need a new danger to the Nether that's not complicated to kill and an uncommon enemy in the overworld, and it's really cool, despite the fact that it's a magma zombie. I'll release a article about the Bewitched Pitchfork at sometime. Anyway, I hope you like this article, and..... that's it...... right.... thank you for reading.
