I have a friend I'd really like to play Minecraft with but, he is a compulsive cheater and a pathological liar causing him to cheat in every single game he possibly has the opportunity to cheat items in. He wouldn't do anything in games that could cause any of us to get in trouble from banning or something like that, but he constantly spawns in items and builds stuff in creative. It makes me really sad because I will put genuine effort into the world only for him to cheat and put no effort in then he just gets bored and quits.
Every single time we catch him.
I'm really frustrated because I'm stuck in this situation where I'll have lots of fun and then I have all of that fun feel like wasted time because he will be one step ahead of me.
Can't find diamonds? Spawn them in.
Don't want to build a base? Build it in creative mode.
About to die and lose your stuff? Go in creative mode.
It's really demotivating, it's like doing a test where you put so much time into studying for this said test, then you look over and then the guy next to you has a cheat sheet with every single answer on the said test making him get a better grade than you.
I think that the game should have a button in the Realms options menu where you can PERMANENTLY disable cheats for a specific player with no way for them to get the cheats back. You may say, what if something in the world happens where only someone with admin privileges can fix it? I think a good way to prevent this, is if you permanently disable the cheats you have to give it to someone else on the Realm, and only they will have the authority to give the permission back, the only other way to get the permission back would be if the original server owner were to completely restart the world with an entirely new world. The original server owner would still have the permissions to change the map and do everything that a server owner would do, except using the commands to make themselves OP and use cheats in game.
Please, Mojang I'd really appreciate seeing this in the game, and so would my friend because then he wouldn't be able to fall into his urges to cheat.
