/gamemode command

One thing I always found a little annoying about the 1.13 commands is that you need to type out the entire word for the game mode you want to change to. i.e. Instead of typing "/gamemode survival" you can type "/gamemode 0" 

This used to be in 1.12, but was removed in 1.13. It would be nice to bring this back in 1.14.

    Tomo, no it doesn't work anymore

    The numeric and short names have been deprecated for years, mojang removed them in order to clean up the whole thing.
    All you need to do more now is press tab 1 time (c<tab> -> creative)

    They removed it for a reason I guess, seems weird to me for them to add it in again

    It was removed, in order to decrease the redundancies in commands and will not come back. Sorry :/

    For fast creative or spectator mode use F3 + N but you will still have to type it out for survival!
