In-game feature voting

Before snapshots, there should be a "game mode" where you can test new features that may or may not be added to Minecraft. These should not be professionally textured or coded and made as a demo.

After testing the feature, it can be voted on.  If a feature gets enough up-votes, the it moves on to development for snapshots and actual game-play.

  We should also be able to vote in the launcher, right in the news section. Dream's controversy wouldn't have happened if we had it from the start
