How can we improve the existing moving creatures of Minecraft? Show us your coolest fantasy creatures. As of right now, bats do absolutely NOTHING . I think they just need a cool useful feature that isn't too big, that makes "caving" better.
So my suggestion is that bats can randomly bite the player, and when bitten, will give you 13 seconds of night vision (or something like that). It will deal half a heart of damage.
It is very small, but would be a cool feature.
