different cat personalities

I think cats should have more personalities!! You find stray cats in villages, which means they're around people all the time, so for example, it'd be interesting if some cats approached the player (without them holding raw fish) instead of running away. Not all cats in real life are super skittish, and it'd be cool if that reflected in the game too!! And that'd make it easier to tame cats, like how easy it is to tame wolves.

I agree, it would make Minecraft a bit more realistic, and you wouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for a cat to approach you and allow you to feed it fish.
