The Redstone Beam is a block that when receives a redstone signal will shoot a red glowing beam, not much to say on that part, well, about it's properties:
- It's beam can damage entities, such as zombies and skeletons, being also able to set them on fire.
- It will only shoot it's beam for a couple seconds, even if it continues to receive the redstone signal, if you want it to shoot another beam you must turn off and on the redstone signal it is receiving.
- (Maybe)It must be fed with redstone dust in order to be able to shoot it's beam, sometimes consumpting the dust in the process.
- It can destroy items.
- It can trigger daylight sensors if it's beam hits one, and can also trigger observer blocks.
- Can only damage entities that are within 6 blocks of distance
- Can only trigger daylight sensors within 8 blocks of distance and observers within 10 blocks of distance, in which distance it's beam fades away completely.
- Can set flammable blocks on fire, but only if they are within 6 blocks of distance.
- Can be pushed by pistons, but only in the way the block is facing, being pushed by a piston to any direction that isn't the direction it is facing will cause it to break, but it can be pulled backwards by a piston with slime.
