The Fairy Cottage is where the Fairy that I have mentioned before in my other posts spawns and usually stays around. It takes the shape of a giant mushroom, and has two floors.
This is one I built in my world to show you what my idea of a Fairy Cottage looks like.
This structure spawns only on Mushroom Island by itself (You won't find another Cottage for a couple hundred blocks.) It can be accompanied by fenced areas of Mooshrooms. 
Inside, there are 2 wood floors 2 blocks tall (remember this is for the Fairies, who are 1.5 blocks tall) On the first floor is a crafting table and the fireplace with a furnace imbedded inside it.
On the second floor is a chest and a bed. Connecting the 2 floors is a ladder.
In the chest, there would be Fairy Dust and other items the Fairy might use.
The house has a notable chimney going through the mushroom cap. This contains the furnace I previously mentioned. 
The lower stem is made from Mushroom Stems, and the cap is made from red and white terricotta. 
The Fairy Cottage would be the only structure on Mushroom Island, which lacks anything of use. (see my Mushroom Island Revamp article for details) It would be a nice addition to the somewhat mundane features of Mushroom Island.
