I’d like this to be added to Bedrock Edition too now since they won’t update Xbox One Edition anymore, it was really nice to be able to get so much Glowstone Dust so easily considering how useful it is and it’s fun because you’re getting experience from killing Blazes

Since when did blazes drop glow stone on consle? I have Xbox 360 and Xbox one and blazes don't drop glow stone in either.

This parity change is perfect for the nether update as it introduces a renewable way to get glowstone dust. I also checked the original minecraft version on Xbox know as “Minecraft: Xbox One Edition” and blazes do drop glowstone dust. I then checked the 360 edition and they drop glowstone dust on that version too. We can only hope that this parity feature is implemented to bedrock edition and java edition.

You can already get renewable glow stone dust from

    • Witch farms
    • Villager trading
    • Piglin bartering (in the upcoming nether update)
    • Wandering traders (granted, this is a highly unreliable source)

as gold and emerald are both renewable resources.

I second this as even with witch farms, the only good reliable way to get glowstone is piglin bartering, which also requires either zombie piglin farming or building mega farms to fuel. You should not be encourages or shoved to build mega farms that might break due to changes in mechanics. You should be able to farm the mob, block, or item naturally (unless it is meant to be limited) the intended way without relying on exploiting mob mechanics and consulting a guide to build it.

    bruh, wrong category.

this is for making parity between the different versions of the game, not to make any suggestion. for that, you have the other categories
