    Constructive suggestions help us present requests to the team in a way that spells out what you may be looking for and generally focuses on three basic things:

    • WHAT you want done (we've got this, you'd like gekkos!)
    • WHY you want something done (missing)
    • HOW you want something done (how would they work? where do you find them?)

    I think a gecko could  be something like a rabbit, a very small creature that isn’t super critical, but I also think it could be added to the desert, because it feels very bare there. It could vary in color patterns, from yellow to blue, and maybe you could have a rare gecko that (if your lucky) can drop a diamond when killed. Regular geckos could possibly drop gecko meat, And when cooked, can increase your hunger bar by +2, keeping in mind they are very small creatures. As i said, the desert feels a bit bare, so it might be a bit more lively with a little gecko friend :)

    WHY geckos: For now only bees and axolotls are cute, one more animal wouldn't hurt. I think more pet animals would be really great, something like hamsters or geckos. Also it could open new "animal section" in minecraft - "pets you can take on a trip on your shoulder to the other part of the world..." or so :)

    HOW geckos: For now only spiders can walk on walls, maybe geckos could also? Or even ceeling? Geckos could protect players from spiders ONLY? Could be found in jungle temples or new jungle structures. If we think of termites, it could also cooperate somehow, like protect wood or something.

    If you eat gecko/gecko meat, you can like for 5 seconds walk on walls.

    PS: I don't think geckos should drop diamonds, it's just silly. Maybe just exp or whole gecko for mixtures?

    What do you want done?

    Geckos, or an unidentified lizard species, to be added to Minecraft. These Geckos (or lizards) can be found in the desert, jungle, and underground/cave biome locations.

    Why do you want something done?

    Many players have commented before on a lack of desert mobs or a desire for more small cute (and harmless) mobs.

    How do you want something done?

    As previously mentioned, the lizard mob can spawn in at least three different biomes. Their colors can also reflect their environment (similar to parrots/birds and frogs). As for foods, I think there needs to be more insect type mobs added to Minecraft (as lizards eat insects or vegetables).
