So I had an idea about a Sound Wave Monster.
General information:
The Sound Wave Monster attacks with sound waves. The sound waves are constantly fired when the player is in the monsters range and the player constantly takes damage. If the sound waves are constantly fired against ice or glass they'll be destroyed. But the destruction doesn't happen in an instant like it would happen with an explosion for example. It (ice/glass) gets the breaking animation first.
Some ideas:
-I don't have a name for the monster. Maybe you could call it Sound Wave or something sound related.
-The sound waves could be fired through the monsters hands/arms or through it's head/mouth.
-The sound waves could be fired when the monster sneaks.
-There could be some way of obtaining its head or an item with which you can also attack with sound waves. It should have a durability of course.
-The sound waves could be fired when the player sneaks.
-The sound waves shouldn't be too powerful. The sword should be stronger so you cannot just simply spam the sound waves to kill every mob in an instant. It should be quicker to kill a mob with the sword instead of using sound waves. The sound waves could be useful when there are many monsters on one spot. Or if there are masses of glass and/or ice that you want to destroy quickly.
-The Sound Wave Monster could spawn in snowy biomes since it makes more sense with its ability to destroy ice.
Why I think it should be added to Minecraft:
There are lots of things to build with but not so many to destroy with. The Wither, TNT, Creeper and so on all fall into the category of explosion. Sound waves could be a fun and new way to destroy things.
There are monsters that have some similarity to the player in one way or another. Be it the looks (zombies for example) or by weapons. The sneaking aspect would add onto that.
Notes:
The picture is only there to give a visual idea of how the sound wave attack COULD look like.
Feel free to improve/reject things if you think there's something better or if something's a bad idea.
