Make walls not have a post if another wall is on top of it, when it is a side wall

You know how it is. You place walls around and it looks quite nice. Then you think to yourself "I think it would look good if I added another row above". However, the moment you place a wall on that nice, side wall, an ugly post appears in the middle. Now you have a nice smooth wall on top, while the bottom is ugly and filled with posts.

My idea, which I feel like it was suggested before, is simply make it so when you place a wall on top of another wall, the bottom wall doesn't get a post model unless it's on a corner. Bonus points would be if you can also make it so in that case the side wall fills the whole block height, rather than from 0 to 14.
