    Currently, if you kill a random drowned without prejudice on Bedrock Edition, you are 20 times more likely to get a trident than on Java Edition.

    • Bedrock: 11% chance for all drowned to drop a trident
    • Java: 6.5% chance for naturally-spawned drowned to have a trident, 8.5% chance for it to drop when killed (total chance: 0.5525%)

    The chance of getting tridents on Bedrock Edition is currently way too high, so I agree that this should be changed. It's really weird to easily get tridents from killing drowned (which spawn too often, but that's another issue) within the first few days, since tridents are more powerful than diamond swords as a melee weapon yet also more easily obtainable.
