Make armor slots visible from containers (chests, furnaces, anvil, etc) - concept art inside

Armor and off-hand slots should be visible from any block UI. That would be a great quality of life change.

Let's say you want to enchant your helmet. Now you have to open your inventory, take off the helmet, open the enchanting table, enchant the helm, open your inventory again and equip the helm. Now imagine skipping those steps and doing it all from the enchanting table.

I made a mod for this a while ago, but I really think it fits vanilla. Pics below:
