Community helping develop the game!

So I had this idea, that monthly/weekly the developers would ask to help with something and the would do it.

I imagen that the devs would give an objective and then the community would do it (coding, texturing, building)

The community could also split up to teams and work on one objective together (like making a bug-free good looking village...) and the devs would somehow reward them like with a prize, easter egg just for them, maybe even a money prize! (not so likely)
