Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

Voted. As a bedrock player I can confirm this makes lighting large areas MUCH easier. You should have this.

I disagree, as non-full blocks such as stairs and slabs get affected by light and have a slightly different shade than the full blocks of the same material, which makes distinguishing them much easier when you intend to do the opposite.

good idea i was making a build and then used a converter to convert it to Java edition but realized it looks a lot different when it's dark.

I actually don't like light going through slabs and stairs in Bedrock. I've been playing Java since 1.7 and it is an absolute pain when I'm building because there'd be random light in the corners I want dim without using full blocks.
