So, we have chickens, right? And they can breed. But, that’s the thing. Chickens and chickens together can’t have babies in real life. Roosters are my suggestion to make this more realistic.
Roosters will have a rectangular neck. It will be long, but not too long. It will have a small head, but not a tiny head. It will have a rectangularish squareish body. It’s wings will be like the chicken’s. The tail is like a rooster’s in real life. The corners will be touching. The rooster’s body color will be a orangish yellowish color, with a Minecraft sun-like pattern under the neck, and a little bit of it on the tip on the wing. The red thingys that they have on the top of their head and below their beak should be red. The tail, it should be a medium-dark cyan.
If you kill a rooster, then it will drop feathers (common), or a rare one, tail feathers. This is rare, so it won’t happen all the time.
Roosters spawn in the following: tagia, plains, savannah, any type of warm biome. Jungles, they can spawn near them, but not in them. Same with deserts. They won’t spawn in cold biomes. They will have to keep their eyes peeled, though! They do have predators, which includes ocelots, wild wolves, players (probably not so much for their meat, though), foxes, and any other animal in Minecraft that would hunt. Polar bears would, but it’s rare because roosters don’t spawn in their area. Players would have to leash them to polar bears, or would spawn one. Roosters may spawn alone (common), with a chicken (uncommon), a chicken and a chick (rare), or a chicken with more than one chick (very rare), or more than one chickens and chicks (extremely rare) Roosters will try to attract a mate. If they do, then they will mate. You cannot breed a rooster and a rooster together. You have to breed one with a chicken. But you con only do that if they like each other. If you try to breed ones that don’t like each other, it won’t work.
Roosters can be befriended. You have to feed them seeds a lot to befriend you. They may follow you around at random times. If you give them seeds daily in Minecraft and in real life, their relationship will grow so strong, that they may crow to wake you up in the morning in Minecraft. That means you have befriended them, and your relationship is strong. If you let them out of their pen daily, that’ll help your relationship. If you defend them from predators, that’ll help. If you give them a mate, that’ll help. If you give them a good home, that’ll help. If you do all these things, you and your rooster will have an awesome relationship.
Roosters will scratch at the ground to look for food. If they find some, seeds will pop out of the ground, and he will eat them. If a predator is nearby, they will crow loudly for you. So loud, you can hear them from miles away. You only have a minute to get there before the predator is going to attack. Meanwhile, the rooster might peck at it trying to defend himself, but that doesn’t mean he’ll win. He may run away, but if you’re not there in one minute, he will attack the predator, leaving him in terrible danger
Well, that’s all I have for now. I’ll post a picture of the colors and body shapes. You don’t have to do all of this. I would love it if you did, though. You could start to work on half of it now, and the rest later.
