Rabbit Raids: Crops Beware!

I think that each day, there's a roughly 5% (or less? more?) chance that, within a 10-15 block radius from crops, a random grass block should become a rabbit burrow block. (It would just be a grass block with a hole in it.) These burrows will spawn rabbits occasionally, which would then proceed to go towards your crops. They can jump over single block high fences (referencing the whole rabbit jumping stereotype), and if there are carrots on your farm, there's a higher chance for rabbits to spawn (referencing that stereotype as well). This would make farming a more interesting task than just a chore.

    Given enough time, every grass block would become a burrow then. The point of minecraft is to be a sandbox world controlled by the player. Let's not make mobs too destructive.

    I don't like the burrow, but instead I would like just 6-7 rabbits just to spawn near your crops.So they can trample them
