Add Invert X-Axis option

Currently Mincraft only has “Invert Y-Axis” option in the controller settings.

There are many people who desperately need inverted controls, and this is not limited to Y-Axis.

Some may think people using inverted controls are strange. But it’s their nature and how their brains work. And it’s really desperate for them and the game is unplayable without inverted controls. Imagine if a game only provides inverted controls for regular axis gamers.

Many other console games provide inverted control options both for Y and X axis.

It should not be so hard to add an option also for X axis in Minecraft, as there is already Y axis option.

I could find several postings (questions, suggestions, and bug reports) about this in other communities, but not in the official feedback site.

Mojang, please add this option and welcome all kinds of inverted minds to this great platform.

    It's hard for me to even get into playing minecraft on my switch, i gotta relearn my camera controls

    Same here I need controls flipped.. try to look right and end up left, makes it so hard to enjoy on switch..

    I have just purchased this game for the Switch and I am staggered to find out there is no invert x-axis option. It seems like such an obvious oversight that should have been fixed by now. The game is unplayable for me until this is fixed.

    I cannot believe that this doesn't have more traction since camera inversion controls is seen as an accessibility issue for many other games. 

    I am constantly fighting with the camera when I play on console because it goes entirely against my intuition for where I want it to go. 

    It is even stranger since there is a Y-axis inversion toggle. I've seen some friends get confused thinking it was a bug that the X-axis toggle was missing. But Mojang never even made one to begin with, feels like missing functionality.

    i just got the switch version because my computer doesn’t run it very well and on pc i had an outside controller driver that inverted the x axis and it’s impossible to play without the x axis inverted and it annoys me that there’s no option to do it.

    I had to refund my Minecraft on iPad yesterday because there is no invert X axis option on controller. There is invert Y though. It's quite silly when developer makes one and not the other. There is a significant percentage of gamers who are both X and Y inverters.

    How come it's been almost 3 years and we still don't have the option to invert x axis? Please, add it as an option!! We already have the option to invert Y axis. It's a major accessibility issue not having the option to invert camera X axis rotation.

    Glad I'm not the only one... After playing a lot of titles with both axis inverted over a span of 12+ years, re-learning camera controls for a single game isn't something someone should be forced to do... Had this same problem with Skyrim on PC. Thankfully the controller utility SCP Toolkit offered the option to invert the x-axis for me. If only I could do the same on Nintendo Switch... Hopefully I can find a way to do the same on Android since it's not completely locked down like the Switch or iOS devices.

    Dear Mojang, I love Minecraft so please make the inverted controls. I really want to play Minecraft with my Dad but I can’t without inverted controls.  So please make an inverted control update.  Thank you!

    Ayo thanks man we do need this, as for some controllers have an inverted x axis when used on Android for no reason.

    Yes we need this added I play games with inverted X axis. Its hard to get back into Minecraft becuase the the X-axis cant be inverted. It messes up the gameplay flow becuase I am not used to it. This is a feature they really need to add.

    +1 for this. I'm honestly surprised that after all these years, this option still doesn't exist. It would be a huge QoL improvement and simple to implement a toggle for. Please make it happen!

    Came here to give this exact same feedback! Am struggling to play without the option to invert x! I’m so confused as to why there is the option to invert one but not both axes. Would genuinely love an explanation from the developers on their logic! Given the almost infinite number of other options in Minecraft, it seems crazy that this is not one of them :(

    I bought minecraft on my switch yesterday and not having x axis inversion is making the game play so stressful. I am glad to see here that I am not the only one. Please add this toggle option.

    My child has special needs and needs this function. I bought the game twice for him but cannot get it to work. We are considering suing Mojang and Microsoft for not complying with ADA accessibility over this minor issue if it is not fixed in the next update.

    I just bought this game and was really excited to start, but now I am unable to play and will likely just consider this a waste of money until this feature makes the game playable for me. It is absurd to have the option to invert y axis but not x, and is disappointing that Microsoft does not value accessibility enough to make this small change that will make this game accessible to a large population of users.  Please fix this as soon as possible.
