Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

+1 vote. I've never had lag on U.S. servers until Microsoft bought the game. It really is a burden to gameplay, player movement is choppy and PvP is impossible. The gap between high/low ping players is massive and it kills your ability to progress or climb the leaderboard because they're all dominated by low ping players. We need Transfer Packets.

We ABSOLUTELY NEED THIS to get lesser ping in PvP servers. I hope they also implement it in 1.8

This is a terribly needed packet. A lot of servers require dozen of dummy proxies for the sole purpose of getting server switching, increasing hosting cost, latency, and complexity. Mojang is just as aware of this as we are, since they implemented it for Bedrock.

Transfer packets are really needed. High ping destroys the game and makes it nearly unplayable. High ping players face A LOT of problems on PVP servers hosted in the US, especially if you are Asian or Australian. Bedrock has it, so why should Java not.
