Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
Item tooltips are solid black rectangles with a single pixel taken out of each corner. An interior border displays a blue gradient. There is a two pixel buffer between the border and all visible text. Text has a subtle dark shadow. Item categories only appear in creative mode while the search tab is active.
When holding an item above another item, no tooltip is displayed.
