When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Directing Redstone Torch Power with Stairs

When you place a torch on the side of a block you can either power the torch from the top of the block it's on or pull power from the top of the torch but not both other wise you will have a spastic clock until the torch burns out. I have found this to be very limiting in my builds. So I suggest you add the ability to direct torch power using stairs like this:and this:The only problem would be if you want your power to go directly up, perhaps a block similar in shape to the cobble wall could be added that will send the power directly up and not to the sides.

    it doesn't need to be just redstone-torch;

    i envision redstone-repeaters or any redstone directors could work as well;

    as long as the stair is strongly powered, then it can weakly power the face that looks like a solid

    This could apply to all redstone mechanisms and all non-solid/semi-solid blocks. This could revolutionize creative building in redstone! You got my vote.
