There should not have to be 2 separate login domains for a single site. This is horrendous.

    Yeah agreed
    I ended up with wierd displayed name instead of game id
    I changed my microsoft pfp and name but it does not apply to this site

    Honestly, having to get a Microsoft account to send feedback feels like a cheap move to get people signing up. If you have a Mojang account and you bought Minecraft, you should have a say.

    This wouldn't make that much sense because you have to pay for a mojang account but a Microsoft account is free. So both.

    I agree. It kinda feels like microsoft are forcing themselves on mojang a little too much here. No offence meant, that's just my opinion.

    I've been using my "mojang usernames" for my Minecraft characters for nearly a decade, and now it's forcing me to use a Gamertag I never had before. I disliked the numbers it appended to the end, because for some reason despite being a new game, they use the old GT naming system, but it costs money to change to another new gamertag that I prefer now.

    Not only that, but by default Xbox accounts expose your real name to "friends" unless you lock it down. This is not ideal for those who record gameplay, stream footage, have any kind of fan following, etc...

    At the very least, let me use an Xbox gamertag on the backend for achievements, login, etc, but use my OG Minecraft username for the frontend (or any custom username) when connecting with other players.

    Because PSN has to permanently link and MSN vs PSN have a conflict of interest (being competitors) I think this would be a quite WONDERFUL idea.  I can't get into the Multiverse to play because of a glitched game due to a mishap linking PS4 to an outdated/deleted MSN account, and now I am unable to ever link the two because I haven't found any agency that is willing to provide a fix.  Supposedly Mojang carries the account link files--according to Sony Customer Support.  So why not just let them be the mediator of the accounts? 

    ALSO: Mojang keeps track of the versions you buy, so Java and Bedrock could easily have the same login identity and still be manageable.  Microsoft just has to be willing to let go of a little bit of control, and maybe compensate Mojang for the service.

     

    (And where did the name "HatchedBark554" come from?  My alias is Adam.Halvorsen attached to my MSN account.  This is EXACTLY what caused the problem in the first place. I mean "LongingJet81"? What kind of a creepy-pervy name is that? Dump the Auto-Aliasing Microsoft, please!)

    Don't worry, this will apparently no longer be a problem with Java Edition "moving house".

    Still don't like that auto-aliasing though.

    I don't know why I write by this username.

    It had 'AnotherDimension' on mc.net, I click on feedback and now look at me. And when I click on lettersINumbers' profile I get my comments but not any options to change my name.

     

    I mean it's not a big deal but it's slightly infuriating.

    I can’t even login as my account ShinyMew76, I am here with my Microsoft account, I haven’t been told to migrate. All my suggestions and ideas are on my mojang account I can’t access on feedback

    My guy could this be deleted I created this suggestion when mojang accounts were a thing, I get it - they no longer bloody use mojang accounts anymore, stop posting that. I don't even follow the post yet I get an email for each any every post

    It would have been great, so I would not have to worry about my Microsoft account being automatically suspended even if I didn't do anything wrong, and so I could suggest more features for Minecraft.

    I rather disagree with your post. You cannot use Mojang accounts on the Minecraft Launcher anymore, and the remaining ones will be eventually deleted at a future date.
