Add new hostile mob to the Nether - called Damned. Basically, the Damned are a variation of the Zombie, and only spawn in the Nether. After all, more hostile mobs definitely need to be added to the Nether - to make it both a more interesting and dangerous place for players! I envision them to look similar to regular Zombies, but with a pitch-black skin color and flaming, red eyes and mouth.
Like Zombie Pigmen, Ghasts, and other Nether Mobs, the Damned would be impervious to lava and fire damage.
Also, the Damned could possibly have to a chance to spawn holding a new, unique weapon - the Bident (a two-pronged, hellish pitchfork weapon). This weapon could behave in a manner similar to the Trident used by the Drowned (e.g., melee, projectile weapon, Loyalty when being thrown).
To make things interesting, the Bident could have its own unique properties as well - such as granting fire resistance when being held by player, having a chance to cause fire damage to player and/or Mobs when being attacked. Like the Trident, the Bident has the possibility of being dropped by the Damned upon being killed by the player (e.g., 13% if already held by the Damned, and 2% if not).
