Dispenser Minecarts

A moving dispenser would be amazing if it shot out arrows or snowballs at mobs and players. Also a dispenser Minecraft should be immune to arrows.

Edit: scratch that they arnt immune to arrows

    This is a neat idea, but how would you control which direction the dispenser faces?  I also think it would be overpowered if it was immune to arrows.

    ClayGoddessSari i think positioning it would be like changing armor stand positions (sneak+Hold/button on mobile) but idk the controls for pc or on console to give an opinion on that.

    This would also be amazing for shulker boxes as you could come back from a mining trip and put your full shulker boxes into the dispenser minecart and set it off over some hopper that would unload them all and put them into your sorting system!

    I activator rails should make it shoot arrows. I think the direction of where you are facing should determine where it faces when it is placed down.

    yeah the whole idea about being immune to arrows isn't to good but it being able to do that would be nice and also if it could plant things such as carrots or wheat seeds etc. because that would add a new edition to farming that would make it less boring, and more interactive

    You can control the direction of the dispenser with diferent crafting recipies, one for the side, one for the front, one up and one down

    This is a BIG idea, it will allow to make fliying machines that shoottnt, arrows, firebals, fireworks... It would changes technical mnecraft forever.

    You could right click it to rotate the dispenser. It would also be a good replacement for tnt duping in java.

    I'm thinking firework rockets and then we can finally have a reason to use the activator rails.  And be able to make amazing fireworks shows without making a huge redstone/dispenser setup.

    The problem I see with these ideas is the dispenser is IN the minecart, how can It shoot out sideways?  Minecart with a side door?

    This is a great idea and we already have in bedrock (sort of) as dispensers can be moved. In bedrock, moving dispensers aren't considered that op and cant be broken by arrows either. The only way to make advanced tunnel bores and trench diggers is with dupers now, If duping glitches were patched, then many contraptions would be impossible.
    i ask you devs, if you ever remove TNT duping, at least give us a new way to dispense it like this idea

    If you do this, you can make a spray gun by making a track that makes the dispenser minecart constantly run over powered activator rails.

    Neat idea. Totally fits into the theme of Minecraft, and is not too overpowered. I think that this would make a great addition to Minecraft. Well done!

    /summon minecraft:command_block_minecart ~ ~ ~ {CustomDisplayTile:1,DisplayTile:dispenser,DisplayOffset:10}

    click and set the command to

    /summon arrow ~ ~ ~1.5 {Motion:[0.0,0.0,1.0]}

    and name to "Dispenser Minecart" or "Minecart with Dispenser"

    As a Bedrock player since we can move containers it wouldn't be a big help. But for Java players this would be amazing and allow for more compact bombers like there are in Bedrock. It would be cool if like normal dispensers they have special interactions such as with shears. Good idea!

    This could be an amazing solution to the tnt duping problem! Dispenser mine carts should act like normal dispensers and be activated by an activator rail.

    shift click to adjust the dispenser's direction perchance?  This would be a great feature!
