Add "Notes" section to player inventory

Adding a place to type editable notes (maybe in a journal) would be GREAT. Other survival-based games like The Long Dark have this feature, and it really adds to in-game immersion as well as overall gameplay, because you don't have to resort to writing things down outside of the game itself. Plus, if you don't play in a world for months at a time, for example, when you return you can pick up on what you were doing, where key coordinates were, etc. This could even be a type of writable/rewritable book (though a simple menu with a note pad would be better, I think).

    This would be incredibly convenient.  However, an argument could be made that the game already has this feature, and it's a book and quill.  It requires crafting and takes up an inventory slot, but you can use it to make notes, and it can be infinitely edited as long as you don't sign it and turn it into a written book.

    Kill some cows, a chicken, and a squid, get three (X) sugar canes, keep the X:Leather, F:Feather, and S:Ink_Sac and use a crafting table, then craft:
