Deadly mosquito

In swamps you will find  mosquitoes that Will giwe you nausa . You repel them with turches and fire . You can also catch them in a botle to make nausa arrowsare mossquito granades .

    Why do people want to make swamps a pain in the rear to be in?  Minecraft isn't that kind of survival game, and I don't think it should be.

    I would make it so when a Mosquito bites you its abdomen starts to get larger. If you have a potion effect, the color of the abdomen will indicate this. Mosquitos would be able to transfer potion effects from mob to mob. I'm not certain, but using a bottle on them may give you the potion. Feeding them certain ingredients may also have them generate the potion, like living brewing stands

    I like the idea of giant mosquitos in the overworld, could make them around the size of bees and could make them spawn in more biomes like the jungle, savanna and mangrove swamps as they are typically found in humid climates. The idea of repelling them with fire items also sounds really good! Don’t like the idea of them giving you nausea and making nausea arrows, would probably be best to leave those out. I think another good use for mosquitos is that they could have a chance of dropping their proboscis when you kill them, and the mosquitos proboscis could be brewed to make a new potion called the potion of life steal. When youre under the effect of this new potion you can steal 10% health from mobs as you damage them. For example, if the player deals 20 damage to a mob then they would receive 2 health back or 1 heart.

    I really like the idea of using mosquitos as living brewing stands in the comments, would obviously need to nerf and tweak them for that to not make them OP and make actual brewing stands redundant.
