Camels and their uses

Camels would spawn in deserts, have 15 hearts, and the same behavior as the Llama. There is two variants.
• one hump
• two humps
You could combine a saddle and a carpet so you could control it when you ride it. You could also put a chest on it to carry 17 items. The variant of camel would determine how many people could ride it.
• one hump - one player
• two humps - two players

    Basically take a llama and make it so you can saddle and control it.

    it will be great if its added considering dessert are pretty lifeless for now :/ lets hope that dessert would win for the next update though..

    awesome idea!!! :-) each hump should have either a chest, saddle, or nothing. If there is a saddle, it should always be in the front hump, and the front should be the one that controls the camel. if multiple people ride it they should need multiple saddles.

    I love the idea of a mob that can carry your stuff. Great for moving and long journeys. They should also follow eachother to make a caravan.

    It would be cool if it had different carpet designs than the llamas. The designs could even include some of the new mobs! It would also be pretty cool if you could breed them for traits like you can with horses. You could have camel beuty pageants like in real life with your friends! They could even add a camel stable to the desert village.

    And you can milk camels in real life so why not add this as a feature to help get resources in the desert.

    I love camels and this idea is great. I don’t see why they would add meerkats but not camels.

    I feel camels would just fit at this point, and this idea is very key because camels are normally seen in deserts.

    lI think it would be cool if they could also lead you to a natural water source or lava source if given savannah leaves, so you could get water and then make it easier to make nether portals and also locate water base's or your missing boat!

    We can breed them with a llama to get a cama, which is the hybrid of llamas and camels.

    And camel also gives milk which can be collected in bottles and it will be a good source for deserts

    Camel's speed will be very slow, but it can carry so much of items 3× than lama

    I think it would be cool that the camels with two humps, lives in the snow biomes like in the normal world.

    I was considering adding a new post for this, but the wild bactrian camel (2 humps) is a critically endangered species and would fit the same trend as the axolotl and panda. I think camels in general would be a great idea because they can use the same animations largely as the llama and can obviously be saddled. Also, similar to the mule, they can be crossbred with llamas to create Camas. Camel milk is a thing as well.

    My Egypt themed village seriously needs camels, and short haired goats, and hairless dogs. 😔

    Using bundles with camels would also be an useful and practical idea since rabbits are always in the desert biome and there is never a shortage of them there not to mention camels are used for transportation of small amounts of goods and wear’s and since the bundles can only have up to 64 items in them at a time it would be an excellent representation for a camel to be able to only carry 1 to 4 bundles at once but the more it’s able to carry the slower it should be able to move and it would also be interesting to tether them together with leads to make a camel caravan and if they all have four they would be able to easily move together in a caravan as well
