How about seperate game rules for passive and hostile mob spawns?

The armadillos should not be spawned too steadily, as you can easily obtain their scutes with a brush.

Mob spawning should still be at the center of a block, but also be given a random chance of spawning in corners of blocks.

The hostile mob spawn rate in bedrock is problematic. The difficulty does not change the rate of spawning and make's it annoying to play when you aren't looking to be surrounded by mobs.

Trial spawners need to be more balanced as well. Reduce the activation range. I keep getting into situations where a horde of baby zombies teams up with a legion of boggeds to kill me & steal all my stuff.

I think it would be better if drowned only spawned near underwater structures, (shipwrecks and ruins for example) It just doesn't make sense for them to spawn so frequently in oceans, rivers and other natural bodies of water otherwise.

Not just the spawns, but the behaviours as well, in Bedrock especially. The skeletons need a massive nerf and to be brought into parity with Java.

I agree with the previous posters about the spawn rates in Bedrock. It's not uncommon that I can see 10+ mobs on screen at a time. Skeletons are also much too OP; they're ranged, hit like a truck and each hit is likely to have knockback. Pair that with that you can get ganged up on by them due to the high spawn rate and it's not a great time. Yes I know shields exist, but it shouldn't be mandatory. Their behavior should be brought more in line with Java, as the above user suggested.
