Nether mob - Firefly

Spawn in the nether. Tiny flying bugs that spawn in groups of 3-8 and attack the player. Individually they have 1 heart and do only about 1/8 a heart of damage, but the threat comes in the fact that they can make players fall off cliffs with knockback. A new generated structure is a hive made of a new block, lava honey. Fireflies will spawn in great numbers around the hive and defend the honey until the player infiltrates the hive and kills the queen. Only then is it safe to harvest the honey, which can be eaten raw to restore 3 hearts and is an ingredient in a new knockback resistance potion. 

I like this idea as it adds makes mining in the nether more dangerous, especially at higher altitudes. Plus, there's a new treasure and challenge to seek out in the nether that can reap a useful reward.

    Perhaps when you eat the creature it would give the player the glowing effect.
