    LOL Aren't seals fish-eaters and do not eat kelp in real life? Other than that, I support seals in Minecraft.

    I'll support it considering that they DON'T eat kelp and EAT FISH. Because (like 90% of sea creatures) they are actually carnivores. And can help me find buried treasure even out of water (without taking damage until after 3 MC days.

    Seals would be great. They should be in icy biomes and beaches too. They could defend you in water better than wolves can, if you tame them with fish. And they maybe find junk on land? Like, they hang around and occasionally rarely spawn a random item near them if they're tame.

    I agree because the icebergs , snowy and just ice spikes had no updates in the aquatic update and I'm building a zoo RN so it would be a great addition

    I see a lot of "make this tameable, make that tameable" but what if you could get them to trust you like foxes, except they would also have a small variation in their skin to signify that they trust you (something with their eyes?) and they would still free roam but would occasionally do tricks in front of you and bring you small items from the ocean (fish, bottles, tripwire hooks etc.), I think this would give an incentive to find them so they don't end up as another polar bear.

    I don’t think they should do tricks, that is only in sea parks, and they are forced to do that

    To make them different from things like turtles and dolphins, here's some ideas;

    - Spawn on gravel beaches or rock cliffs, and often found sunbathing on them

    - found in cooler ocean biomes than turtles and dolphins

    - are scared of the player, but made curious by them. Stick their head out of the water to look at the player when in a boat or on land

    - Only interact with the player when they are both underwater / when the player has raw cod.

    Couldn't there be different types of seal other than grey like for instance a harp seal or ringed seal and the different seals could all live in different beach types like cold beach could have ringed or harp while a warm beach could have an Elephant seal, to me that could really spruce up beaches and shores by having mobs there kind of like how turtles are.

    As seals become more endangered we should spread awareness to them by adding them into Minecraft like bees and pandas. They of course will give you nothing in return for killing them and will not be tameable but able to be bred with fish!

    it would be nice for us to be walking around the map and seeing her lying on icebergs, or her swimming eating fish, or in large numbers on snowy beaches

    Sorry to say, But Seals don't do Tricks, Thats Sea Lions.

    And Sea Lions are quite hostile unless trained, And can even be hostile while trained.

    Seals and Sea Lions are completely different.

    I wouldn't say its Impossible for Seals to do tricks, But Sea Lions are the ones known for Tricks.

    But at the end of the Day, I'd love Seals because they're so cutee.
