I think the vulture should only turn into a zombie vulture when attacked by a zombie

An Idea: Vultures that you gain the trust of will pick up three of your items when you die if they are nearby, saving them from despawning. They will give them back to you once you get to the spot of your demise.

Vultures should pick up and eat rotten flesh, because in real life they will eat rotting meat

also husks should drop sand on death so that you can farm them instead of destroying deserts

Vultures are endangered, so instead of incentivizing players to kill one for their stuff back, toss them rotten flesh. They could work like Foxes and will drop the item in favor of the flesh. After feeding, they could have a dolphins grace like buff where they will slowly fly above you, and lazily swoop down on any undead mobs (aka Husks), and could be a good counter for phantoms at night. Something like 5 minutes. They should be able to be nametagged and transported to a build, where they will either perch if indoors, or fly around a certain radius, coming to perch specifically on a cactus or other item/block, ensuring player control over where they can go and where they need to go when not wandering. Personally, I would like to be able to tame them, so I can have air support when exploring, and permanently perched in builds. This could help alleviate losing items when dying, if youre lucky. When in a cave, they could waddle next to you and run at undead mobs like a goose would, with its wings spread out. Man that would rule and be so funny lmao (though that could be the new Ostrich mob that does that 🤔)

It would be cool if the Vultures attacked undead monsters.

I love the idea for that! Vultures would be great in Minecraft! They should be very smart… maybe they could be tamed by getting the special item of a carcass? They could be available at desert temples or desert villages, but are very rare.

The Undead variant might be the Phantom due to their similar appearance and behavior
