Holiday Events

Minecraft should celebrate more holidays than just Christmas and Halloween. Things like Easter and Thanksgiving would be a fun addition to the game.

    Also ones from other religions and cultures like Dia de los Meurtos with more skeletons spawning and all other holidays that would make fun additions to the game.

    Honestly it would be pretty great having an update where there is seasonal themed items for both Halloween and Christmas. Maybe they can find interesting ways to implement this without breaking the "no furniture" rule.

    I would even add that it start 2 weeks before Christmas.  Other popular games like Ark have christmas trees and Santa flying in the sky.  Some of us are away from computer during the actual day so we don't get to enjoy if it is just a 24 hour event.

    Hello, I have an interesting idea.

    all granite and tuff generated in the month of March, should be replaced with 

    “sham rock”. It could be polished into polished sham rock, or crafted into “sham bricks”, “chiseled sham bricks” with a shamrock carved in it. When sham bricks are smelted, they could become “cracked sham bricks”. 

    PS: when you mine sham rock, it will become cobbled sham rock. Smelt it in a furnace to become regular sham rock.

    They should do Valentine's Day as well and you should win a heart cape if you play during that event.

    We need more holiday events!!! Maybe they could start on the 1st of the month and end on the last day in the month, because there aren't really any two big holidays in one month!
