Caravans

a new traveling “structure” called a caravan. It’s a group of npcs that ride llamas throughout the world. The caravan will sometimes stop at villages for a few ingame days and maybe stop at a player’s house as well. The player can interact and trade with the caravan, trading for exotic items that the caravan might contain. Caravan npcs will be different from villagers, as they will ride llamas, tie up said llamas using a lead, and can cross water using boats (though the player will rarely see them outside of villages.) The caravan will walk from village to village in a circuit of sorts, visiting a few villages over and over again. They would be a nice addition to the game because it would add an interesting “event” of sorts into the game, and bring some life and use back into villages, which have pretty much stayed the same since they were added, with a few minor updates.

    This is actually a neat concept (in that it better integrates llamas into the game) but it adds a lot of new behaviors to villagers that are out of character.

    This is a thought out idea. Thus, "going to village" is really helpful, its because its really hard to find village in your world without any tools or cheats.

    I sort of like the idea.  I don't think any new items or entities should be added to the game, just for this though.  Also, caravans should just stick to one village because otherwise "village wreckers" could find villages more easily.

    Depending on what items they are caring at the time, it's like the village comes to you! You could use this to learn where villages are and you could play the role of a bandit, llamas have storage and villagers should utilize it
