NOTICE

Are you sure you want to report this?

When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

The idea in its own name sounds interesting, but the purpose you mention sounds wastefully annoying.

I don't mean to be rude, but maybe it could something else that is kind of a "redstony explosion"?  The bomb could destroy only redstone, repeaters, pistons, and other similar items to destroy old or unwanted contraptions.  It could maybe destroy redstone blocks in a way that eliminate any powered redstone signals.  Just some other suggestions to help the idea.

So basically you're turning a little bit of redstone dust, gunpowder, and sand into a LOT of redstone.  Uh, I don't think that will happen. x3

I disagree with this idea simply because it could be replaced with the /fill command, of course, this would be usable in survival, however, it would probably be used in Minecraft servers or maps which would have cheats on anyway. It could instead destroy redstone and it’s components in a ten block radius.
