Crossbreeding Dogs

If they ever add many different variants of species of dogs, they should add crossbreeding to gain new breeds and abilities for the dog and it's owner.

    Not just that we need sleeping animations or when you walk in doors they jump on you and we need different breeds

    Also i think each breed of dogs should have their own behavior and sound effects too! Like Siberian Huskies, commonly known as "Escape Artist", they could make that breed in Minecraft which behave like in real life, like you constantly lost your dog.... Or a Greyhound to improve the running speed. And also make the dogs spawn naturally at diffrerent biomes like Husky spawn at Snowy Biomes! I hope the great and big hearted people at Mojang would look this awesome topic ! Cause everything we have now is just a breed of dog called "Wolf" (For me, though the wiki say it is wolf, i think they are dogs because those guys behave exact like Dogs when tamed and that represent the origin of dog in real life! )

    My dogs are crossbreeds! They are cavador (cavalier king charles spaniel x labrador retriever) x l labrador retriever.

    But wheres the point were you can no longer crossbreed? Does it come back full circle? Or if you dont breed them to get a successful new breed it just becomes a mutt or something?

    This would add so much more to the game, and make it fun. You could also maybe use it to gain XP and level up from breeding new breeds!

    They already added different cats... the dogs are sad that they didn’t get more breeds! Dogs need love too! Different colored Labrador Retrievers would be awsome for some of the breeds..... I have a black Labrador Retriever and he wants to be in the game lol.

    They need huskies in game. I also think that they need to add dogs and they would spawn in any type of forest. Huskies would only spawn is cold places. I just need them to make a dog that was all brown and its eyes were black. If they add that it would make me happy. My dog is like that. I need that. Great idea though.

    If you want to see my take on cross breeding read on

    I think that there should be black, brown, and white wolves. The they would have diffrent size noses, mouths, and size. And when breadong them, they can get patterns, random shapes, and after 3-5 generations, you can unlock a new dog breed diffeent from wolves.

    Like the introduction of Cats and different colored fur variants in 1.14, I think it's about time for the wolves to become different breeds and/or have different fur patterns/colors! Like how Ocelots stayed as is and then created "cats" as a new mob, Wolves should stay as is and create a new mob, "dogs"! You can breed two tamed dogs to get random breed variants. Examples include: Labrador, golden retriever, doberman, husky, poodle, etc. Additionally; Toy breeds/smaller dogs such as a Pug or Shih Tzu's, could be baby wolf size and Larger breeds like Great Danes or Mastiffs could be horse size! Small, Medium, and Large if you will. If at all possible to do so, I believe all that's been mentioned above should be considered and added with tweaks as needed! Please Upvote and tweet this to the developers to be added in game!

    They separated ocelots and cats now they need to separate wolves and dogs (and add more dog species).
