Enchantable Horse Armor

I'd love to see the ability to enchant horse armor, both with some of the armor enchantments we already have present, (Like protect, blast protection, projectile protection, thorns, ect) as well as some equestrian based enchantments as well, like maybe the ability to move slightly faster, depending on the level of speed on the armor, or increased jumping ability, 

another cool idea could be for it to be up-gradable via crafting it with precious blocks and a nether star to grant certain potion benefits to it's rider while they are riding on the back of the horse, (such as haste, regeneration, mining speed, etc.) somewhat similar to a mobile beacon, although limited to only the rider. 

Anyways, the main point of this post is to ask for enchantable horse armor, the upgradable armor only just occured to me while I was writing this.

I'd love to have the ability to furhter deck out my ride

    Yeah, the number of times I've been riding on my horse at night and a creeper blows up and kills my horse, which was at full health, in one hit is ridiculous, and there is no way to stop it except to not ride your horse at night.

    Also, I’d love for the Frostwalker enchant or a unique enchant for the horse which allows it to fair much better in water!

    And you should be able to enchant the armor with frost walker so your horse can walk on water

    On top of that, they could also add horseshoes or something similar to act as a sort of boots for horses and can be enchanted with special boots enchantments like depth strider, frost walker, and feather falling.

    I was about to make the same post! Horse armor should also have an enchantment enabling the horse to swim through water. I don't think the second half of your post should be added though, as it seems too complicated and not needed.

    I think that a Buoyancy enchantment allowing Horses to move slowly across the water. It could have three levels and would be very helpful for crossing rivers without having to make a bridge.

    I love this idea! I would especially like to see things like feather falling, depth strider, aqua affinity, ect.

    Ram: While riding, the horse throws back mobs that enter its hitbox. The higher the enchantment level, the further the rejection. Deals no damage.

    Why doesn’t this have more votes? It would make leather armor a lot more protective especially.
