    So another griefing mob....  I don’t think that would be popular x3

    You might want to explain why a mob that breaks blocks would be good in the game and what it would otherwise be like.  Is it hostile or passive?  Which blocks can it break?  Because all I can think is another mob that people are going to find a pain in the rear because it breaks stuff, like endermen and creepers and ghasts.

    Yes, a miner, not a griefing mob

    A Villager that mines blocks just like the farmer farms!

    And one that places blocks!

    Wither can already chew through most blocks that touches it. This is already a feature and it can be used for mining, automatic cobblestone/wood farms, etc. Many people, however, seem to not use this feature.

    Zombies can break wooden doors.  Withers can break anything.  Endermen can manipulate blocks.  Enderdragons can destroy non-end blocks.  Undead mobs trample turtle eggs.  What else do we need?

    Oh, and creepers can send entire houses into oblivion.  I almost forgot.

    This is a cool idea, I like it, but if it were too common, it would make the game way way way harder.

    1.15 you mean it wont happen in 1.14 because the Update is coming to a finish and nothing exiting is going to be added Also the wither breaks things too and the Ender dragon so yeah maybe a boss or a mini boss could break things I do not know but nice idea though. :)

    This would be a great idea far underground. Currently if you are really good at placing blocks it isn't all that difficult to avoid mobs while mining at Y level 11. If you add a monster like this it creates a challenge in a place where there should be a challenge.

    What if Mojang added this functionality to zombies? They'd break blocks at the same speed as a hand, except if they have a tool that's effective against that block. Also, zombies should be able to place a limited amount of dirt to chase after someone, about 16 blocks. This would make fighting zombies much more interesting.
