Sites such as minealtlas are extremely useful for people who want to look at a seed before they start or know where a certain biome can be found. But from what I can tell they are outdated and not expressly intended for bedrock edition, even though they work to some extent. For example, I was using minealtlas to search for swamps and found it to be very hit or miss, even though I can clearly see the similarities between the two maps on the broad strokes.
I put this in website because I think this kind of tool would be most useful as an external tool, not in the game launcher itself, and that seemed like the most appropriate place.
Edit: Minealtlas and similar sites are tools where you can enter a seed and see a map of the world. This is useful to preview seeds before making a new world, or looking for specific things in an existing world. It shows the various biomes in different colors and tells you the coordinates of any area you hover over. Other features include toggling the location of various structures of interest, such as ocean monuments, witch huts, villages, and more. However, these might be deemed too overpowered in an official tool.
