That would be so nice. I'd Voted.

Currently, there is a way to convert Java worlds to Bedrock, but it's better to have an official tool.

This sounds like an excellent idea, especially since mojang is pushing people to move to bedrock, in some cases forcing it by retiring their version.

This would be awesome, either that or a way to customize my flat worlds. Which, is the only reason I actually use third-party software to import my deep flat worlds.

Is there any way to convert PS4? If not, can someone make a tool to do so. I will literally pay anyone of they can fully convert my Minecraft world from my PS4 to BedRock edition.

Okay, forget I said that. Mc tool chest converts PS3 and not PS4 world's though.

Bumping this, it's becoming more and more relevant. I have JAVA worlds that I've poured my heart (and years) into and I would love to be able to convert them to Bedrock so I can continue to create and play in them on Windows 10 and Xbox One.

This would be so useful - perhaps not just from Java to Bedrock but the ability to move worlds backwards and forewards freely between the two. There are third party tools out there but I've found they can be really hit or miss, sometimes losing random chunks and usually losing the contents of chests and player inventories. An official tool for this would be incredible, please make my day Mojang!

Yeah, I have a very old PS3 world that I've played on for such a long time. But I want to play it on Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, but I can't because there're no tools that can convert my world without any chuck problems or items disappearing.

yesss!!! you can't even get the old disc and download your uploaded saves like before. If you don't update the game it can't use network features - meaning you can't use the download function by pressing square unless you update.. If you update, you get Bedrock! I'm sure there's a lot more people that haven't gotten the chance to transfer their PS3 worlds.

Until this is introduced, which I personally doubt, the best tool is the Win32 program MCC Tool Chest PE

I think this is a very good idea. Currently, there is NO way for Windows 10 players to have customized Superflat worlds, and it's VERY annoying and time-consuming to terraform the regular biomes. Mojang should either create a tool that converts Java to Bedrock, or thy should fix the Superflat so we could customize it.I want to be able to have a Superflat biome that's at least 25-30 blocks down, and I would like to be able to choose which biome elements I want to have in my customizable Superflat world(plains,snow,desert,etc.). Please make this happen,Mojang.

This would be a VERY important tool to have. Then I could convert my Java worlds to MCPE, and that'd be great!

My kids are heart broken they can no longer transfer their PS3 worlds. They had admitted to me they were not using their PS3 much for fear of it breaking after after i fixed it from the light of death and upgraded the cooling. Now years of work on their worlds will be stuck if not lost on their PS3. I feel the announcement window to end support of transfers was way too short. Please provide a fix to this or a work around, thank you.

as someone who own minecraft on switch and ps4, i agree this should be added as either a web based tool or an application on consoles and pc as i have an xbox 360 world that i want to change into a bedrock world and cant since i dont own an xbox one and dont have friends.i have put hundred of hours into said worlds and with the only official way to transfer it being thorugh an xbox one makes difficult to say the least. With the wii u and 3ds versions being completely abandoned with no successor, this would make the worlds on those consoles playable again.
