Iron golems should do sweep attacks, have resistance against projectiles, and/or be able to regenerate in villages
Since most mobs attack Iron Golems, they can often get killed pretty quickly; they should be able to fend for themselves better.
They have two large arms that swing at the same time, so it would make sense if they did damage to multiple mobs in a single attack.
A single skeleton can do significant damage to a golem due to its erratic movement, so golems should have some form of protection against them. Maybe they could swing their arms to deflect arrows into the air, or simply take less damage from projectiles.
Finally, they should be able to heal so they don't get killed as quickly. Perhaps they could have Regeneration when within 4 blocks of a villager and not being attacked, or players/villagers could repair it by feeding it iron ingots or blocks (which would be expensive, but less so than building a new golem).
