This would significantly improve the experience with ray tracing on if we were able to prevent some entities from unrendering when they go off screen (leading to their shadows mysteriously disappearing).

I'm tired of players and animals not being visible from even a short distance

That's right, blocks such as entities, chests, and signs are not visible when they are more than 4 chunks away from the observer, and grass and flowers are invisible when they are more than 8 chunks away.

Considering how you can't even see as far as how far the render distance goes at those high of render distances, this would be beneficial for performance as well as letting us see farther (while keeping performance stable) a preview of the terrain before its rendered in full view when we get closer to see the full texture detail.

Even with the Spyglass item, you can't see that far and both Bedrock and Java could benefit from LOD's and take advantage of the boosted view distance paired with the new world height terrain.

As it currently stands, I am covering a large portion of my world with wheat, and it irritates me to no end when I see empty farmland instead of the splendor of my wheat! Having this as a feature would really help with my grain troubles, and other issues less important than maximum wheatage. I would sacrifice some render distance for wheat that shows up as far as I can see in an instant!
