Add a "cancel launch" button to the launcher

Earlier, I booted up the Minecraft Launcher but accidentally clicked on the wrong version and had to wait for a bit so I could delete the tab and re-launch it in the right version. Could you add a "cancel launch" button, or maybe just an X on the loading bar to stop the game from booting up? Thanks
