Sail-Powered Pirate Ships in Minecraft

I’d love to see larger, sail-powered boats added to Minecraft—something beyond the current rowboats, inspired by classic pirate ships. Why this would be awesome: • These ships could serve as floating bases, group transport, or storage vessels for long journeys. • They could be crafted using wood planks, wool for sails, and other ship-like components. • Maybe they could be customizable, similar to how we build houses—allowing players to build their own hull and then “activate” it with a ship helm block. • Sailing could be tied to wind direction (for challenge) or maybe just simplified to feel intuitive and fun. • Could open the door to naval battles, sea trading, and more sea exploration.
