I understand this is a new technology for Minecraft officially so obviously it won't be perfect but I just have a recommendation that might make the shaders run better and look better. I recommend making the shadow transition per pixel rounded down to the last pixel shaded rather than exact, which is what it is now it seems. This should in theory remove the flickering that happens between pixels as the light source and object move. This should also help performance for lower end GPUs since they wont need to render nearly as many lighting updates. Thanks :)
